It is the only place where my eyes are blind and my soul wanders freely from the truth of reality. The sky above your head is a facade. Asleep beneath the ashes of unsent love letters, I am destroyed by the dreams of an angel with white wings to sweep away the pain.
Night swallowed the day as darkness engulfed all. There was nothing but silence within those dark hours and the silence was broken with the rising of her wings. Destroy my hope. Eclipse the sun.
