Cat In The Hat

O sol não brilhou.
The sun did not shine.
Estava muito molhado para brincar.
It was too wet to play.

Molhado demais para ir lá fora.
Too wet to go out
E frio demais para jogar bola.
And too cold to play ball.

So we sat in the house.

"Por que vocês sentam aí assim?''
"Why do you sit there like that?"

"I know it is wet
E o sol não está ensolarado.
And the sun is not sunny.
Mas nós podemos
But we can have
Nos divertir muito, e isso é divertido"!
Lots of good fun that is funny!"

"Eu conheço uns bons jogos que podemos jogar,"
"I know some good games we could play,"
Disse o gato.
Said the cat.
"Eu conheço uns novos truques,"
"I know some new tricks,"
Disse o Gato da Cartola.
Said the Cat in the Hat.
"Um bocado de bons truques.
"A lot of good tricks.

As I stand on a ball.
Com um livro numa mão!
With a book in one hand!

And a cup on my hat!

Eu posso segurar DOIS livros!
I can hold TWO books!
Eu posso segura o peixe!
I can hold up the fish!
E um pequeno navio de brinquedo!
And a little toy ship!
E um bocado de leite num prato!
And some milk on a dish!
E veja!
And look!
Eu posso pular para cima e para baixo na bola!
I can hop up and down on the ball!
